| Product | Onvilo, a downloadable macOS application supplied as digital content under a one-time-purchase licence |
| Price | Release price: USD 19.99, inclusive of applicable tax shown by Onvilo. No end date has been set. If the price changes, the updated price is shown on the sales page and in the final checkout review. If tax, currency, or the final total varies by country or region, the final checkout review controls. |
| Other costs | Internet access, data charges, a compatible Mac and peripherals, and any model download required by macOS are the purchaser’s responsibility. A card issuer or payment provider may impose currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees not charged or controlled by the operator. |
| Payment methods | Stripe Managed Payments / Link provides the card, Apple Pay, Link, and other methods shown at checkout |
| When payment is taken | At order confirmation. The time at which a card issuer or payment provider debits the purchaser depends on that provider. |
| Merchant of Record | For eligible products, countries, and transactions shown as Managed Payments or Sold through Link, Stripe Managed Payments is the merchant of record for the transaction-level sale and services described in this disclosure. Latech remains responsible for the Onvilo product, downloads, licences, product-level support, product defects, and statutory remedies. If coverage cannot be confirmed, Latech may hold the transaction after payment, stop the sale, or refund the payment. |
| Japanese consumption tax and qualified invoices | Latech is a Japanese consumption-tax taxable business and Qualified Invoice Issuer, registration number T8810483333248. Where Managed Payments applies, Stripe handles the applicable transaction-level indirect tax, receipt, and invoice processing. Coverage, displayed amounts, and responsibility allocation follow Stripe’s eligibility determination for the product, country, and transaction and the final checkout review. If required information or coverage cannot be confirmed, the transaction may be held, stopped, or refunded. |
| Managed Payments indirect tax and transaction processing | For eligible digital products and covered countries, Stripe Managed Payments calculates, collects, files, remits, and invoices applicable indirect taxes, and provides transaction-level receipts, refund notifications, and dispute support. If a country, product, or transaction is outside the covered scope, the transaction may be held after payment, stopped, or refunded. |
| Named purchaser, employer reimbursement, and company purchases | v1.0 permits a natural person to use Onvilo for private, workplace, sole-proprietor, business, or professional purposes. An employer may reimburse or pay the price when the named purchaser contracts in their own name and remains the only licensed user. Purchases by or on behalf of a company, organisation, or team, company-specific agreements, shared licences, resale, and redistribution are not available. A Stripe business name or tax ID that indicates a company or third-party purchase must not be treated as an automatic v1.0 approval. |
| Supply and delivery | After payment is confirmed, automated processing normally provides the licence key and the latest Onvilo download immediately on the completion page and by email, and no later than 24 hours. If supply is not completed within 24 hours, the purchaser may choose resupply or a full tax-inclusive refund. |
| System requirements | macOS 26 or later on Apple Silicon. Apple Intelligence is required for Foundation Models text correction. Speech and translation models may require downloads. Current details are shown on the sales page before purchase. |
| Functionality | On-device dictation, conservative text correction, translation, and insertion/copy. Actual language and model availability depends on macOS, the Mac, region, installed models, and Apple support. |
| Interoperability | Onvilo is a macOS application for Apple Silicon and is not supplied for Windows, Linux, Intel Mac, iOS, iPadOS, Android, or web browsers. Automatic insertion may not work in an application that rejects Accessibility insertion or synthetic paste. |
| Technical protection and licence limit | One licence is for one user and up to three Macs. Each virtualised macOS environment counts as one Mac. A licence key and activation token are used to enforce the limit. |
| Geographic restrictions | The countries available for purchase are shown at checkout. After valid activation, there is no ordinary geographic use restriction, except where law, export controls, sanctions, payment terms, or a platform restriction requires otherwise. |
| Copies and transfer | The licensed user may install the application on the permitted Macs and make a reasonable backup copy for that user’s own use. Redistribution, resale of copies, sublicensing, and sharing the licence among users are prohibited except where mandatory law provides otherwise. |
| Contract duration | The purchased major version may be used indefinitely unless the licence is terminated for a material breach. This is not a promise of permanent compatibility, updates for a fixed period, or perpetual re-download availability. Mandatory update and conformity obligations remain unaffected. |
| Renewal and subscription | No subscription, automatic renewal, or recurring charge applies. |
| Free trial | When you first launch a distributed build, all features are available for a cumulative 20 minutes without a payment method. The quota has no expiry after it starts, and there is no automatic charge or conversion to a paid contract. The trial is generally limited to one Mac and one trial per major version. |
| Voluntary refund | A first purchase may be refunded on request within 14 days after purchase. The policy is generally limited to one refund for the same user or substantially the same purchaser and may exclude fraud or abuse. It is additional to statutory rights. |
| EU/UK immediate supply | Checkout uses a separate, initially unticked checkbox for prior express consent to begin supplying the digital content during the statutory withdrawal/cancellation period and acknowledgement that the right is lost when supply begins, to the extent applicable law permits. The confirmation email repeats the wording and includes the legal documents shown at purchase. |
| Statutory remedies | Mandatory rights for failure to supply, lack of conformity, satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose, correspondence with description, repair, replacement, price reduction, termination, reimbursement, damages, or another remedy are not restricted by the voluntary refund policy or Terms. |
| Complaints | Contact support@onvilo.app. Product help is at https://onvilo.app/en/help/. EU and UK sales are unavailable; any mandatory national ADR disclosure will be provided before those markets reopen. |
| Languages | The interface supports Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Spanish. Full legal documents and human product support are provided in Japanese or English. Non-Japanese landing pages link to the English legal documents. For Hong Kong, Traditional Chinese speech recognition uses Taiwan Mandarin (zh-TW); Cantonese speech recognition is not currently supported. |
Immediate supply and statutory withdrawal/cancellation
EU and UK consumers generally have a 14-day withdrawal or cancellation period for a distance contract for digital content before supply begins.
These consumer-specific rights apply where the applicable law defines the purchaser as a consumer. Sales are limited to a natural person contracting in their own name and responsibility; the named individual’s own business or professional use is permitted. Corporate, organisation, representative, shared, and resale purchases are not available.
Onvilo will not create a checkout session unless the purchaser separately selects the immediate-supply checkbox. Where applicable law permits and all requirements are met, the statutory right ends when the licence and download supply begins.
If valid consent, acknowledgement, confirmation, or supply is absent and applicable law preserves the right, send a clear statement to the contact above. A model statement appears in the Terms of Use.
This does not affect the voluntary 14-day first-purchase refund or a statutory remedy for faulty, non-conforming, misdescribed, incompatible, or unsupplied digital content.
Voluntary refund process
Send the purchase email address and Stripe / Link receipt or another transaction identifier to support@onvilo.app within 14 days after purchase. A refund may also be available through Stripe / Link transaction support.
When the refund is completed, the licence ends and the user must delete Onvilo and its copies.
Common treatment for sales outside Japan
For a transaction shown as Managed Payments or Sold through Link, Stripe / Link handles transaction-level payment, applicable indirect taxes, receipts and invoices, refund notifications, fraud prevention, and disputes or transaction support. Latech remains responsible for the Onvilo product, downloads, licences, product-level support, product defects, and mandatory statutory remedies.
Mandatory consumer-protection, contract-disclosure, privacy, and other rights under the purchaser’s country or region are not restricted by this disclosure, the Terms, or the voluntary 14-day refund policy.
This disclosure, the Terms of Use, and the Privacy Policy are provided in Japanese and English as one common legal-document set for all countries and regions shown at checkout. The English version is available before purchase wherever the English legal set is shown.
Applicable law and language
The Terms select Japanese law and the Tokyo District Court, but the selection does not remove mandatory protections or mandatory court access available to a consumer under otherwise applicable law.
Japanese and English versions are intended to express the same contract. Japanese controls a discrepancy only to the extent permitted by law and not so as to remove a right reasonably communicated in English or a mandatory consumer right.
The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued in 2025 and is not listed as an available complaint mechanism.
